Andrea Dworkin

I do not agree with her at all and marriage is not about rape or ownership of another person. I think marriage is a binding of two people who love each other and it is a mutual thing. If one person wanted to marry another person who didnt want to get married they wont get married and for two people to marry each other there has to be love to at least make it work. I dont find her point of view offensive because it is her oppinion and she should be able to voice it but that doesnt mean I have to agree with her. If a male would have said what Andrea Dworkin said it would not have changed anything and I would have thought the same way about the issue. I know that there are people that completely agree with Dworkin and I'm sure there are very different from me and thats fine with me.

Interaction

I have interacted with many different types of people and not all have been the same experience as the one before. I have worked with people that do not have the same culture as me, they can not speak english, and they have come from a poor background. I think of the people I work with as friends even if I cant understand what he is saying I have someone who speaks spanish that talks for us. I joke around with him and he plays pranks on me and its fun. I have no problem interacting with all kinds of people and it doesnt matter about where their from or what they look like. You never know how you are going to interact with someone until you tried.

Arguments

All the arguments I have are usually with my friends and 0ne time I was argueing about cars with one of my friends. I thought I was right about a certain engine in a car, so I got really defensive about it, because I thought I was completely right. I wasnt right and I felt like and idiot. There was also a time when I was arguing a point about hunting and I knew I was right, and I knew the other person was very wrong. It was something stupid, but when I proved my point to him he felt like I did before.

Blog Questions

1. The steps I take when I revise a paper are first of all reading and going over my paper a couple of times to check for grammar and any other errors. Then going through and changing or rewording points in my paper. I don't do complete rewrites, but I do rewrite certain parts and fix them up.
2. I revise the way I do, because I am a very neat and organized person. There are steps to revising and I follow them to make sure my paper is done right.
3. I will write when I am by myself and listen to music in my dorm room at my desk. I usually write for an hour to two depending on how much I have to do.
4. Four points of feedback from the peer reviews and the conference would be knowing things I did wrong, what I have to fix, new ideas, and advise.

Lacrosse

It was not hard to find a book or information on lacrosse in the library. All I did was look up lacrosse on the library's search site and then it gave me all the books it had and I went and found the book. It was the first time I did that and it was very easy to find the book that I wanted because everything is numbered.

I did learn that lacrosse was created by American Indians as a war game. I also learned that they used olny one hand and shorter sticks with larger heads(nets) when playing. The oringinal name of lacrosse was game of ball or ball game.

The Wedding Crashers

The Wedding Crashers is the funniest movie of the year. Vince Vaughn has never been funnier and with Owen Wilson backing him up the two make a hilarious duo. The movie is about the two going to other peoples weddings and getting with girls. And thats pretty much it but the humor in the movie is genious and will be hard to top. This movie is the funniest movie I have ever seen. If you haven't seen this movie you better and then buy it when it comes out on DVD and then watch it every day just to make sure you didn't miss anything because the movie is that funny. The story is believable and the two together make this movie what it is and without them the movie would not have done as well. It didnt do that great in the boxoffice but it is in the top five. I know the people who saw it didn't expect the movie to be as funny as it was. The movie is a must see and if you don't your crazy. I've never laughed out loud in a movie theatre before and on top of that I never laughed so hard in my life. Vince Vaughn is truley a new breed of actor and with this movie he has shown that he is up there with the best. "The Wedding Crashers" will be a movie that sells just as much if not more when it comes out on DVD. A very well directed movie and will be Vaughn's best performances but not the last.

Vikings Game

The Vikings game would have been a great game if I was cheering for the Bengals but unfortinatly I was not. Culpepper is playing like a rookie and making stupid mistakes. I blame everything on Culpepper the leader of the team. He didn't have the points to get his "roll on" but he did help the other team out by throwing who knows how many interceptions. Tice should have never left Culpepper in the game. We are paying Brad Johnson, I mean why did we get him in the first place if we are not going to use him. Culpepper should have gotten taken booted from the game and Johnson should have had the chance to take over. The Viking's defense held up for the most part, but the second play of the game was Sharper not doing his job. The Vikings losing is and should be put on the shoulders of Culpepper. I have no idea what is wrong with Culpepper, but he better fix it before they put Johnson in which they should do if Culpepper in not producing.

Well this English class seems fun so far and the work given isn't too bad. I like that I only have to come twice a week. I'm not too worried about doing bad in this class, because I have always been pretty good at enlish. I don't have too many worries about this class and it shouldn't be too hard.
